ptmh I love this album as it propel me through an avalanche of mixed emotions in the many stories that run through the poetic lines of each line. Eg:." Lost in the moment defined by no measure of time". Favorite track: Studying Sidewalks.

about

Greetings from Elmwood, TN.

To me, music has always been a far more truthful account of our shared history than any of the history books we studied in school. Take Stephen Foster's "Hard Times Come Again No More" first published in 1855, relevant to those times, even more so today. Or Woody Guthrie's "Deportee", tragic then, and every bit as tragic today. How about Sam Cook's " A Change is Gonna Come"? Released during the high heat of the Civil Rights Movement and to this day, we're all still waiting for that change. Music History tells us we really haven't come very far at all. Like Leonard Cohen said, "Loves the only engine of survival". And love is why I made this record.

Thank you to all of the stellar artists who made this music real.

This album is dedicated to Lorraine. My wife, my safe harbor and my muse.

Finally, please know how much we appreciate when you purchase music. The price per song here is purposeful and trying to make up for some of what we lose by how low streaming pays. I hope and trust you understand.
